Nocturnal beetle - Chlaenius cumatilis

Nocturnal beetle - Chlaenius cumatilis
San Pedro River crossing at River Road, SE of San Manuel, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
July 6, 2011
Size: approx 12
Colorful nocturnal beetle, appears like a Large Foliage Ground Beetle, but unsure; was present in muddy "tidal zone" of semi-permanent water in Sonoran Desert, at time of emergence of many termites.

Moved
Moved from subgenus Chlaenius.

Chlaenius cumatilis vs leucoscelis
the pronotum will separate the two but I can't remember off-hand.

cumatilis...
based on comparison of MCZ types.

Thanks
