Clubtail
What you have there is a very good set of photos of the Midland Clubtail (Gomphus fraternus).
The very small top-triangle toward the tip of the abdomen of segment 8 is a good clue.
The larvae live in larger streams with good flow, or in the shallows of large lakes where there is good wave action.
The Clubtails have separated eyes, whereas all of your other dragonfly families have eyes that are in contact in at least one place.
