spider 227 - Araneus - Female
Yale-Meyers forest, Eastford County, Connecticut, USA
July 29, 2008
Size: 10 mm
taken from hemlock foliage in an oak/hemlock forest.
everything points to an Araneid except definite, prominent serrated setea on the 4th tarsus, ( a Therid???)

Moved to genus for now
Moved from Orb Weavers.

Moved from Spiders. I can't remember did you come up with anything on this one? Do you have a ventral view?

Hi Chris
Do you have another image you can post that shows the 'humps' more clearly?

I'm not sure which one though. Araneus something.

Moved from ID Request.
