Sorry I don't have photos from other angles to assist with the ID. I wasn't planning on needing ID, but I want to join a stock agency and they require proper ID for everything. I really appreciate any help.

It looks similar to a beewolf
It looks similar to a beewolf wasp of some type Genus Philanthus. http://bugguide.net/node/view/4345 Wait for expert conformation I'm just an amateur.
