Orange and black beetle - Calopteron discrepans

Orange and black beetle - Calopteron discrepans
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
June 25, 2006
I found this attractive beetle crawling among the grass on my lawn. ID help would be welcome.

must be Calopteron discrepans
[black color abruptly widens around the scutellum]
Moved from Banded Net-wing.

...
Looks like Calopteron reticulatum, a Lycid Beetle (Net-Winged Beetle)
