This is definitely a female Angle-wing Katydid,
but I'm not confident that I can tell females of
M. rhombifolium
from
M. californicum
without seeing a larger, higher resolution picture than this one. Do you happen to have other shots of this insect?

A Katydid
..but I will not even guess at which species.
An example of a Greater Angle-wing Katydid (
Microcentrum rhombifolium
) but your is likely to be a different species.
