Dragonfly 12 Spotted? - Celithemis fasciata

Dragonfly 12 Spotted? - Celithemis fasciata
North Augusta, SC, South Carolina, USA
July 1, 2011

We had a nice trip to South Carolina a couple years back.
We visited BugGuide's Mike Boone who is in Greenwood, up north of you, and then on to Congaree and down to the coast. Wonderful visit. Lots of great pics! Hope to see more South Carolina images from you.

Be careful for what you ask for.. :)
Just kidding, I have thousands of photos. I spend most of my time trying to figure them out on my own. These dragonflies are really a challenge though. Congaree is awesome, I worked there briefly on the tree recovery study after Hugo. Next time you are in town, contact me, I will take you on a personal tour of Brick Pond Park, our forty acre wetland restoration project. Lots of bugs!

I will definitely post when stumped, or like today when no amount of searching through all the photos got me to the right spot. Thank you again!

Moved
Moved from ID Request. Pretty small, but fills a datapoint for now.

How about Banded instead?

Banded it is!
Thank you! After totally giving up after searching way too long, (since it did not look anything like the 12 spotted's I found here) I handed it over to you guys. You guys are great!
