After a few really cold days, this guy blew in and crashed on the sidewalk in front of me on an overcast day, about 45 degrees F

Nice specimen
Yeah they can be active late into the year. There is a big nest I am hoping to get but the homeowner wants to make sure they are completely dead before we remove it. Maybe later this month or January if it all works out.
