Probably L. malkini
I can't see the clypeus. If it has teeth, it is not malkini, but an Odontopsammodius (which are quite uncommonly seen). Leiopsammodius malkini can be abundant at lights.

No clypeal teeth,
so L. malkini it is.

seems unlikely
Geopsammodius have vestigial eyes and are flightless - they don't come to UV light, you really need to sift or berlese them. Consider Leiopsammodius, probably malkini

thanks Philip
what was I thinking, lol ... can you send me a pdf of your Leiopsammodius revision? thanks!

sure, will send next week
BTW, this is L. malkini - I see enough details

thanks!
