Bledius annularis LeConte (complex)
I agree that shape of the pronotum doesn't look like
Carpelimus
, and does look more
Bledius
-like. There are, however, no species of
Bledius
in this region that that have a dark elytra like this.
Possibly
this is a very-dark specimen of the
Bledius annularis
LeConte (complex)
