Sorry, moved these to the wrong species for a minute. Anyway, the ID is unfortunately based on the color and relative shininess rather than more "technical" characters, but there are only 4 spp. in this genus in Colorado. Keep an eye open for other opportunities to add some clearer images of this species here.

The male appears to be an unrelated Lasius sp.
