Small Scarab -
Ataenius hirsutus
Foothills of the Huachuca Mountains, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
July 4, 2011
Size: 4.5 mm
I'm not too familiar with scarabs yet. This one was collected in a pitfall trap near an ephemeral wash.
