Small bugs in plant dirt - Isotomurus

Small bugs in plant dirt - Isotomurus
New York, USA
January 2, 2010
Size: 1 mm
I noticed these when watering my potted tomatoe plant today, there is a bunch of them, but not swarms. They are EXTRMELY small, and they crawl around and often jump too. They are not on the plant, just in the dirt. I haven't noticed anything wrong with the plant so I guess they are ok to stay. Some were a little darker (more gray) and slightly larger (still really small) than this one. Just wondering if anyone knows what they are. Sorry for the low quality, like I said they're super small. Thanks.
