Bembidiini (Subgenus Furcacampa) - Bembidion patruele

Bembidiini (Subgenus Furcacampa) - Bembidion patruele
Medford, (~25 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
June 8, 2011
Size: 4.2mm
believe this is B. affine, based on D&A's key where "Frontal furrows doubled behind anterior supraorbital puncture" separates B. affine from the B. versicolor-minimus-impotents group. That doubling appears to be visable at least on the right in this enlarged view. This one a bit large for any of that subgenus, at 4.2mm Additional insights and corrections welcome :)

B. patruele
This isn't a Furcacampa - it is a Notaphus. It is B. patruele. Furcacampa are in general narrower and more parallel-sided than this.

second guess
B. versicolor?

Thanks Brad. I should have noticed that before.

Not B. affine
Note how different the pronotal shape is. I'm not sure what it is though. :)
