2nd Sotol Stalk Borer - Thrincopyge alacris

This is the second and only other larva to mature from grubs I found in a flower stalk of a sotol plant and brought back to New Hampshire. This grub was one of four that were still larval inside an unopened section of the stalk well after the first grub had pupated (long pupation period), eclosed, lived a captive life, and died. I include several views to record individual variation between what are likely siblings. Here is the first one to mature:

I think this one is a different sex than the other, but I'm not sure what to look for is sexing beetles.
