Desert Cockroach Arenivaga sp female - Eremoblatta subdiaphana - Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, San Diego County, California, USA March 5, 1998 Size: BL ~ 8 mm
We think this is an Arenivaga female. I was found on the sandy desert trail at Borrego Palm Canyon right next to a large rock. We had no idea what this small wingless insect was. Not until we found a male several years later and started to study the group did we start to consider that it was a desert roach female. Thanks in advance for any help.
