Male Winter Tick, Dermacentor albipictus (Packard, 1869) - Dermacentor albipictus - Male

Size: 6.6 mm long
Winter Ticks are normally found only on moose, elk, and deer, but larvae and males will wander and sometimes show-up on people or pets. This individual was found on a dog.
