Spider - Dolomedes tenebrosus

Spider - Dolomedes tenebrosus
Perry County, Pennsylvania, USA
January 7, 2012
This one deserves an award for the most creepy creature to come out of the firewood. Maybe it is another Dolomedes tenebrosus, like the two that I found over the summer?

Moved
Moved from ID Request. How lucky for you.... a beautiful spider during the winter. =]

Thanks Lynette
I have to admit, the red coloration on its legs is quite beautiful. I put it safely under a piece of bark to finish overwintering
