Big spider. Huge spider! - Araneus nordmanni

This is a really big spider. The spider was on a two by four which gives some idea of its size. It did not seem to hang in a web. I saw this spider for about 3 days in a row. It was always on the top or the side of the rail on my deck. I have some large rocks on the rail, and during the day the spider would sometimes take shelter under a rock.
