Gulf Coast Tick - Amblyomma maculatum - Male
Albany, Dougherty County, Georgia, USA
August 25, 2011
Located in Coastal Plain of Southwest Georgia in an open area with Pines, shrubs, and grass nearby.

Mouthparts look elongate. Appears similar to male Amblyomma maculatum - Gulf Coast Tick:

Moved Tentatively
Moved from ID Request.

Looks good but I am not quite as familiar with this species; mouthparts look too long to be Dermacentor.
