June 10, 2006
Size: 1-1.25"
Located approx. 50yds from drainage stream in a 'naturalized' area of my yard. Taken early afternoon around 1pm EST, around 87* temp.

Moved from Forktails.

Moved to guide... genus level.

This is a female forktail, genus Ischnura. Based on range, it is most likely either Rambur's Forktail or Citrine Forktail. The size range given above is right around the overlap between those two species.
