Bembidion americanum, I suppose. The shape of the pronotum appears less sinuous than B. bifossulatum. Corrections welcome :)

Besides pronotal shape, accurate body length
usually distinguishes B. americanum (5 - 6 mm) from B. cheyennense (6.8 - 7.7 mm). The latter is the eastern counterpart of western B. bifossulatum. Ideally, the scape (= antennomere #1) should be reddish-brown in B. americanum, blackish in B. cheyennense.

thanks Peter. I got lazy and didn't bother to measure this one (of course). But by my "virtual" pixel counting technique, this beetle measures in at 5.4mm. I know you greatly prefer beetle-in-hand, and with images color accuracy is suspect at best. But I did note that the venter image shows considerably lighter (non-black) scape.
