Looks like a Cyphon - Nyholmia confusa

Looks like a Cyphon - Nyholmia confusa
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
June 30, 2006
Size: about 2.9 mm
This year has been a good year for scirtids, particularly Cyphon spp., showing up at my UV lights. You can usually spot them easily by the sheen from their pelage (OK, shine from their coat of little hairs or setae)

Moved tentatively
Moved from Contacyphon.
