Oecetis - the 9th ventromesal notch is unusual but I don't know if it is characteristic of a single species. from what I can see try looking up O. georgia Ross 1941 but you may have to compare with several other species as well. If you want to send it I will clear it and look at it for ya.

Sure

Its hard to get sharp images of these in alcohol. I'll save for you, and look thru some other caddisflies from this collection sample to see if there appear to be additional species.

I wonder why you cannot take a sharp image in ETOH. Are you using some type of autofocus that is focusing on the ETOH surface? Many of us get sharp images in ETOH via microscope and camera. I often see images where the image was just damp rather than inundated. That approach usually causes alot of glare.

Maybe

Maybe my container is too shiny and reflecting too much light. I'll have to try a more matte-white surface and try that out.
