Hadena plumasata
An image comparison of Hadena siskiyou (Hodges# 10323.3) , and closely related Hadena moth species at MPG showed Hadena plumasata (Hodges# 10323) to be the best, and fairly exact visual match. This specimen would be the first Hadena plumasata specimen to be submitted to BOLD. I am hoping this will be sufficient for a new Guide page - Thanks!

An additional image of Hadena plumasata can be viewed here.

Hadena siskiyou apparently is named after the Siskiyou Mountains, located within North-western California and South-western Oregon; where it is endemic to that region.
Hadena plumasata apparently is named after Plumas County, located adjacent to, and on the southwest side of Lassen County. The range of Hadena plumasata is limited to the Cascade and Sierra Mountains within California.

The word "plumas" means "feathers" in Spanish.
