I'd say Coras
For sure not T. domestica (the males of that species have a very slender palp and the patterning on the carapace is different).

Nice shots!

Cool I feel like such a jerk
Cool I feel like such a jerk having so much bad info out there on the web...but luckily I'm going to have a ton of new stuff when I redo the site!

website
Are you working on a spider website, Emily? Would love to check it out! And don't feel bad... you'd be surprised how much inaccurate spider info there is online and also just in everyday society. 99% of the population wouldn't know the difference between a Coras and a Tegenaria so not many people would notice the error. The majority of spider images online are misidentified to begin with, and the errors just get perpetuated over and over again... no one really does it on purpose. Folks don't realize just how many species there are in the world, and the common photographic field guides in book stores only show a handful of species.
If you're making a spider website, it's awesome that you've been double checking your IDs here! The main folly of a lot of spider websites (or the internet in general, actually)... is simply that they don't seek the opinion of other authorities on the subject before publishing their material. So I have lots of respect for you in that regard - kudos! Arachnology is really a team effort.

yes it's at www.tenczar.net/m
yes it's at www.tenczar.net/midwest but there are some wrong ids on the Clubionidae/gnaphosidae page which is also making me crazy...need to get the new one up soon!
