E. ventricosus
This appears to be the same species as that seen on this web page, and referred to there as "Edrotes orbus" (see Casey, 1907). But E. orbus has been in synonymy with the variable E. ventricosus since the 1947 treatment of the genus by La Rivers. In this form of E. ventricosus, the long white hairs do not form four clear longitudinal lines per elytra, but instead appear more randomly scattered.
