Everglades NP- Long Pine Key, Dade County, Florida, USA
January 27, 2012
I found this moth on the screen of the laptop computer. It flew off and then came back and landed on the black band around the screen. Most of it was transparent with very bright gold markings. It was sent to Bob Patterson for ID. This is his comment, "Your fantastic computer moth is 5196 - Synclera jarbusalis, it is known from Florida, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, and Costa Rica." Many thanks Bob for identifying this one!

Nice Find
