Looks like Crocigrapha normani, Norman's Quaker. April date makes sense for that species as well.

you just answered more questions than you thought. I reared this and the later instar photos were suspect so I thought perhaps I had mixed up the photos. Now that I know the adult identification I checked BG and yes, the larval instars do look quite different so my photos are OK. I can go ahead and post them Thanks again!
