Scudder's Bush Katydid nymph - Scudderia

Scudder's Bush Katydid nymph - Scudderia

Size: ~ 1 cm?
On virginia creeper, in a wooded ravine. ID help appreciated.

Probably S. furcata,
but that's just a guess. There are other Scudderia species in the area, and there isn't much information available on how to identify the nymphs, especially the little ones that look nothing like the adults yet. I'm trying to learn, but it's a slow process. So far, I can only be sure if there is only one species in an area - not a very good record, is it? :0)

Scudderia sp. Nymph
