Scoliid wasp, possibly Campsomeris tolteca male? - Dielis tolteca - Male

Size: 20-22 mm
We saw this scoliid male on Spanish Needles (Palafoxia aridus) along Henderson Canyon road in the low sandy desert. We think it may possibly be a Campsomeris tolteca male because there may be a yellow band across the thorax just above the wings. Hard to tell since this isn't a dorsal view. Any help with identification will be much appreciated. (I checked to see if this image was sent in before, but I can't find it on BugGuide.)

Right on! Campsomeris tolteca
Markings on scoliids can vary greatly, especially for males of Campsomeris tolteca and C. plumipes.
