What species of robber fly is this?

I found a number of robber flies in the Guide that seem similar, but nothing that really stands out to me.
Thank you for any help or suggestions.

Promachus
I'd call it Promachus cf. rufipes. It's either P. rufipes or P. vertebratus (because of the tiger-striped abdomen and two-toned legs) and they both have records in OH, but I'd lean toward P. rufipes because the colors are a little more vivid.

Cropped and moved for expert attention.

Please crop your pics to "just the bug." Only you and the editors can see the full-size image. Everyone else is left looking at a little fly in a lot of unnecessary background. :)
