8598.96 – Melipotis n. sp
This matches your MPG submission identified by Jim Troubridge as Melipotis n. sp. in the Melipotis perpendicularis group here.

You might want to add your other two images. I don't see them in the Guide.

There are several more undescribed species in this group. I don't know which is true perpendicularis but Jim has indicated that it has been found in Key Largo.

Moved from Melipotis januaris.

Melipotis perpendecularis
Female of Melipotis perpendecularis. In M. perpendicularis distance between antemedial line and the base of the forewing usually is much shorter on the costal edge than on the inner edge of the wing. In M. januaris this distance is about the same on both edges.
