Identification
Wings translucent pink with large black patch on forewings and black terminal area on hindwings. Orange scaling on head, thorax, and base of forewings. Fringe black.

A tropical species recently discovered in the vicinity of Florida City (Dade County, Florida).
Found in Florida, Cuba, the Dominican Republic and on the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico

Florida specimens were collected in March.
Adults have been recorded on wing in March in Florida.
