The Lappet Moth larva - Phyllodesma americana
Hidden Corners Sanctuary, Town of Bailey's Harbor, Door County, Wisconsin, USA
June 16, 2004
Larva at 19 days old. Female laid eggs May 17, 2004; hatched May 28, 2004. Fed larvae Birch (Betula spp.) and Balsam Poplar (Populus balsamifera).
