Leaf-footed bug?

Leaf-footed bug?
Raleigh, Wake County, North Carolina, USA
July 3, 2006
Size: Body is approx. 5 mm long
They prefer to flock on just one begonia leaf. Next day, next leaf. They seem to be immature coreidae, but lacking the black spots on the lower body that I've seen on other pictures.

Yes, Coreidae.
We have lots of similar pictures at the family level. Leptoglossus is one genus that starts out looking like this, but there may be others. If you are able to observe and photograph them to adulthood - not as hard as it sounds, as they tend not to move very far - it would be interesting and helpful for us. These are pretty close to being newborn - the markings will change over time.
