Darapsa choerilus
West Greenwich, Kent County, Rhode Island, USA
July 28, 2000
This caterpillar was found in pine woods. The horn appears to be blue-colored. I have no idea which species it might be.

Darapsa

Darapsa
are very similar. This however is
Darapsa choerilus
, evident by the straight blue caudal horn, both of the other two species have downward curving caudal horns.
