Crescent Dunes, Nye County, Nevada, USA
Size: 4.5mm
Wild specimen collected 01/30/2012 by sifting sand excavated from dune margins. Identity verified by Dr. Richard Rust. Specimens photographed in our lab in Carson City using a Leica EZ4 dissecting scope and Pentax K20D with 35 mm macro lens. This image is a composite of 12 photos combined using Zerene Stacker software to increase depth of field.
