Callirhytis quercussuttoni?

Callirhytis quercussuttoni?
Stebbins Cold Canyon Reserve, Solano County, California, USA
February 3, 2012
Size: 17 x 7 mm
Found on a small twig on the ground under both Quercus agrifolia and Q. wislizeni, no Q. douglasii was in the immediate vicinity and a single Q. berberidifolia was nearby, but I would think this was more likely to have fallen from one of the live oaks. Which one though, I have no idea how to tell, but it may not matter.

Moved from Gall Wasps.

Callirhytis quercussuttoni if from agrifolia or wislizeni
It is Callirhytis quercussuttoni if it came from a Q. agrifolia or Q. wislizeni. Q. berberidifolia has the similar-looking Andricus chrysolepidicola gall. I can't say which tree this is from based on the image.

Unfortunately
there is not much more to the twig then what is in the image, thanks for the help again.
