Cattail bug nymph? - Chilacis typhae

Cattail bug nymph? - Chilacis typhae
Delta, British Columbia, Canada
February 7, 2012
Size: about 1-2 mm.
This was found inside a cattail head, with many larger bugs (4 -4.5mm), all very active. (I've submitted an adult separately.)

I just searched for your adult photos
And they are listed as occurring in British Columbia, not California. Right now this is the only Californian record I've heard of, but I assume it is a mistake.

Yes. Sometimes the request form changes the location to California, I'm not sure why. I usually notice and change it back. Sorry I missed this one.
The proper location is Delta, British Columbia.
