Tiny two-spot - Clypastraea lunata
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
July 3, 2006
Size: about 1.4 mm
Came to UV lights. At first I thought it was a Litar*gus tetra*spilotus hai*ry fun*gus beetle, which is turning out to be a fairly regular visitor. But the second pair of spots never came into view and I realized I had something completely different. My best guess: a cor*ylophid.

Corylophidae: Clypastraea lunata
Used to be in a much easier genus to remember, Molamba.

Corylophidae
It is a corylophid, your id percentage is picking up. Keep this one for me please, until I can check the collection. I have seen somewhere before, but it isn't common here, and may be something worth hanging on to.
