Abstract
The genus Cregya LeConte is redefined to include 117 species. There are 89 new species described herein:
(1) C. abacula n. sp., (2) C. agnosta n. sp., (3) C. alicula n. sp., (4) C. america n. sp., (5) C. ametra n. sp.,
(6) C. andersoni n. sp., (7) C. andros n. sp., (8) C. apanthesa n. sp., (9) C. apicula n. sp., (10) C. aragua n. sp.,

Abstract. The New World genus Chariessa Forster (Coleoptera: Cleroidea: Cleridae) is revised and includes C. catalina Opitz, new species, C. elegans Horn, C. dichroa (LeConte), C. floridana Schaeffer, C. pilosa (Forster), C. texana Wolcott, C. ramicornis Perty, C. vestita (Chevrolat), and C. duponti (Spinola). Enoplium pilosa var. marginata Say is synonymized with Chariessa pilosa Forster.

Abstract
Twenty-three genera and 51 species of Cleridae are reported for the state of Tamaulipas, Mexico, representing 24% of all the species known from the country. It is anticipated that many species remain to be found.
