We noticed someone had frassed the original but we wanted to give this one more try since it seems like such an interesting critter. We enlarged and rotated the image in hopes that someone might be able to identify it.

Fuzzballidae, an new family of Collembola
Hi Ken. I know I am repeating myself... But I still agree with Eric it is a ball of lint. The movement that you saw was most probably caused by the heat of the halogen illumination. At this magnification of 35 even the smallest Collembola should be well recognisable. I must admit with some imagination one could make a creepy crawly from this fuzzball. This case is a nice example of pareidolia. Pareidolia is a widespread phenomenon and is in fact part of human culture. Entomologists are not immune from the phenomenon. Checkout for some more details on this interesting phenomenon.
Pls, do me a favour. Move this to the Collembola section of the guide.
This page should not be frassed. It is an excellent example case of pareidolia.

These critters burrow into the skin and are found in 8 out of ten patients that have a scabies like infection. Allergies are severe with this variety. CDC is taking it seriously. Morgellons infected skin actually has lesions with protruding fibres and brown fecal matter left by these "fuzz balls." Look it up. Many doctors are unaware of this infection, but at one time, AIDS and HIV were also not recognized.

Maybe you can help?
The fuzz image posted on the page, of Morgellon's are exactly like the things i have been collecting off me. Everyting you have posted is what I have been suffering from and find on my body. I am so desperate and my health is steadily declining. I wear hand/wrists, elbows, knee and ankle braces due to swelling and pain in and around all joints, rashes, extreme fatigue, etc...

After many months of Discomfort I finally got a Diagnoses of Lyme disease. Without the "Classic" bullseye rash it made the Diagnoses a little harder due to the fact the first blood test came back negative. The second blood test, however, detected the spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi After a full 30 days of antibiotic I'm feeling better.

Lint looking bug
I too have these and have Morgellons. I just recently found that by rubbing on Nivea anti-cellilite, with L-Cartine gel brings them out and you can get rid of them. You will have change clothes after a bit.
I did this fresh out of the shower. I did again and it brought a few out but it seems to have eliminated most off them?

God Bless and hope this helps,

Have you read this?

You sound to me like you have Morgellons.

Try putting on dry skin with dry hands, Dawn dish/hand soap, or T-Gel shampoo mixed with a/dead sea minerals soap after that rub hand sanitizer on. (note use the kritter kids hand sanitizer,(bottle looks like critter)or This should bring larvae and eggs up out of skin, massage and bring them up then rinse off. This should reduce the swelling in feet and hands and bring you some relief and also help the the fatigue. I believe the fatigue is caused by the body being over burdened.

I am currently fighting Morgellons.

Please let me know if this helps and I can tell you some other things to help.

With Prayers and Blessings going your way!

Lyme like disease
Morgellons seems to be a new kind of skin disease, possibly caused by bacteria that are related to bacteria causing Lyme disease. If not treated properly, the nerves in the skin get affected, eventually. The damaged nerves may send false signals to the brain, suggesting crawling sensations on/in the skin. Scientific Morgellons research is just beginning.

However, in some cases a scab
However, in some cases a scabies like mite is found in some patients resembling your little guy in the picture and are described as springtails by some people. Still, I doubt they have your level of knowledge about what kind of insects or mites are affecting them.
