red-spotted yellow bug - Tropidosteptes
Ailsa Craig, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada
July 2, 2006
Size: about 5 mm
attracted to light; perhaps a variation of the bug in my previous post but with less red on the pronotum?
The white area is reflected light; the wingtips were translucent, almost clear.

Moved
Moved from Plant Bugs.

Miridae.
Family is Miridae. May not be able to ID better than that, as it is an enormous family, with great individual variation within each species.
