None of my other photos of briggsi have a hairy FW... maybe I even have the family wrong?

Dr Mockford says, "May be E. spilotus Thornton & Wong.
"The species is known throughout the Pacific and on Bermuda. I would like to see the specimen."

Moved from Barklice, Booklice, and Parasitic Lice.

 
Looks like my assessment was wrong
This one may be the most interesting afterall! Thanks =v= and Dr. Mockford, I'll dig around in leaf litter some more and see if I can find more. Expect more bark lice from me in the near future.

Trichopsocus acuminatus Its range is listed in (1) as established in coastal California.
