I added another image where I enlarged and sharpened it a bit so you could get a better look at the final abdomen segment.
A couple of other things that seem unique is the presence of good sized halteres, and the fact that 1.5 of the abdomen segments extend past the wingtips.

--others may narrow down the ID, i'm not an expert
many spp are active through the winter, esp. one as mild as we're having... i get a few representatives of this family at my patio lights every single night from a creek ~150 yds away
