Fire-colored Beetle Larva - Neopyrochroa flabellata
Columbia / Rock Bridge Memorial State Park, Boone County, Missouri, USA
February 22, 2012
Size: 1" or so
Found this guy underneath a rotting log. It is flattened, segmented, has pincher like front and rear. Found images of a Flat Bark Beetle Larva ID'd as Cucujus clavipes. May not be it, but closest thing we could find to it. Whadya think?
