Casebearer of some type? - Homaledra octagonella
Chattahoochee Nat'l Rec Area, Medlock Bridge, Georgia, USA
May 26, 2003
I found many of these last year clinging to the undersides of leaves. I suspect that it's the larva of something.

Moved from Coleophora.

Coleophora Octagonella ?
Bob Patterson has a similar case bearer identified as Coleophora Octagonella about halfway down the page.
