Bayside/Oakland Lake, Queens County, New York, USA

Size: 22 mm
I believe that this is a Belostoma.
Two individuals found on underside of partially submerged log at edge of lake.
If correct, this would represent a data point for New York State in BugGuide, and would be a BG February data point for anywhere. It has been a particularly mild winter here.
