Disonycha leptolineata texana. Host plant remains unknown. If it is like the nominate subspecies, Itea is the host.

Thanks John! BTW, Itea does not occur anywhere near here; barely gets into the state of Texas. To my knowledge, we do not even have any plants in that *family* in the LRGV! This individual was photographed on Aloysia gratissima, family Verbenaceae, for whatever that's worth.
